Charlie Young is a coroner’s investigator working with metro police on a series of murders in Nashville. Jackie’s, an Entertainment Palace on the east side of Music City, is known for drag queen entertainers and embarrassing underbelly to country music’s roalty and political enticement to wholesome family entertainment. Yet there’s a killer hiding in the dark alleys hunting drag queens and it can’t be swept under the boots of country music.
I came up with the idea after a colorful discussion with friends in the entertainment industry. Approximately 40,000 words in or half-way completed.
