About the Author

Kolin Mofield tells the story of ordinary characters who find themselves in extraordinary circumstances and are forced to find the hero within. Utilizing experiences as one of the few female police officers in a good ‘ole boy southern town, she adds small-town idiosyncrasies and ties them with police procedure weaving an intricate story of good ‘ole boy coverups, and dark underbelly of the disturbed. Although no longer in law enforcement, she continues many friendships with those still on the job who fact-check her work with provocative critique.

Currently, Kolin is working on two contemporary mystery series, editing stand-alone suspense/thrillers with a romantic element and continuation of craft education, you know light reading for mastery of firearms, forensic psychology, pathology and serial killer psychological reviews.

When not writing, she enjoys kayaking, riding motorcycles through east Tennessee, touring in their ’72 Jeep CJ5, or attending Nashville Predator hockey games. As an ice hockey goalie mom, she assures everyone there’s nothing cooler than hockey in the south. She lives happily with her husband just east of Nashville, Tennessee, and is proud of her four sons, all successful young men who are grateful she has an outlet for her dark imagination.
